Sergio Cabrera

Sergio Cabrera is a Colombian film and TV director, as well as a producer. He has directed six feature films and more than thirty short films. In addition to his work as a director, he has also been a screenwriter for various TV series in Colombia, Spain, and Italy, as well as a commercial director. Currently, he serves as the Colombian ambassador to China.

KIM Miyoung

KIM Miyoung graduated from the Korean Academy of Film Arts and received her master's degree in research on Eisenstein's montage theory from Seoul National University. She worked as an assistant director on IM Kwontaek's three films. She has made four short films and three independent feature films. Her third film A Lonely Island in the Distant Sea (2023) won several awards, including the Busan Film Critics Association Award Grand Prize and Wildflower Film Award Grand Prize.

LEE Sangyong

LEE Sangyong began his career in film criticism in 1997 when he won the 2nd Rookie Film Criticism Award from the film magazine Cine21. He has served as a programmer for both the Busan International Film Festival and the Jeonju International Film Festival. Currently, he is the Program Director of the Busan International Kids & Youth Film Festival. His books include Bong Joonho’s Cinematic Language (Nanda, 2021), Everything Allowed by Cinema (Hongsi Communication, 2008), and the co-authored Cinéchanté (Minumsa, 2015).

Jaime E. Manrique

Jaime E. Manrique is the creator and director of the Bogotá Short Film Festival - BOGOSHORTS, and the representative of its exhibition and distribution strategies called BOGOSHORTS Movement and BOGOSHORTS Film Agency. In 1997 he founded the LABORATORIOS BLACK VELVET, an integral film management company of which he is the current director. Moreover, he is active as a film analyst in the media and as a professor in different universities in Latin America, and also acts a consultant in communications and film distribution

Bernard Payen

Bernard Payen has been a programmer at the Cinémathèque Française since 2011, where he organizes regular screenings for contemporary filmmakers. Previously, he curated the short film section at the Cannes Film Festival’s Semaine de la Critique (International Critics' Week). As a filmmaker, he directed Mr. H, which was released in Brazil in 2013. He is currently the editor-in-chief of the film magazine Court-Circuit (Atre) and also hosts a monthly radio program.

KIM Hyunjoo

KIM Hyunjoo is animation director of Korea. She established STUDIO HOLHORY in 2005 and began her career by directing the TV series The White Seal, which aired in 2006. She later created the TV series Choum and Pulip School, and Dogvengers Academy. Her feature film Lost in Moonlight was officially selected for the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in 2017. Her short film My Child, which had its world premiere at the 39th Busan International Short Film Festival in 2022, was theatrically released in France in 2023.

Ranjanee Ratnavibhushana

Ranjanee Ratnavibhushana is a Sri Lankan film critic, author, scriptwriter, and film society activist. She is the General Secretary of the Asian Film Centre and an Advisory Council Member of the Network for the Promotion of Asia Pacific Cinema (NETPAC). A member of both the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) and the International Federation of Film Societies (FICC), she has contributed to numerous publications on cinema. She has served as a juror at major international film festivals, including Locarno, Busan, and Kolkata, and is the Director of Programming for the upcoming Asia Pacific Film Festival in Colombo (2025).

KIM Youngjin

KIM Youngjin is the CEO and producer of Rocket Film, a Busan-based production company he founded in 2013. He began his career in the film industry in 2001, joining the production company Sidus. For over a decade, he worked as a producer, contributing to various commercial films. His notable works include Picnic (2024) and Swing Kids (2018). Picnic, his latest film, sparked discussion by addressing the dignity of death in old age, posing a profound question to Korea’s rapidly aging society. Released in 2024, it became the first film of the year to surpass its break-even point and enjoyed a successful box-office run.

SHIM Hyunjung

SHIM Hyunjung studied composition and film scoring at Yonsei University and New York University (NYU). She is currently active as a film music director. She first gained recognition by winning the Best Music Award at the Korean Film Awards for "The Last Waltz," Mido's theme from the original soundtrack of Oldboy (2003), directed by PAKR Chanwook. Subsequently, she received the Best Music Award at the Buil Film Awards for The Man from Nowhere (2010) and the Best Soundtrack Award at the Korea Broadcasting Awards for the MBC documentary Tears of the Amazon (2010).

GIM Jiyeon

GIM Jiyeon majored in philosophy at university and is currently active as a film critic. She is the Editor-in-Chief of IndieCritique (2024-present) and has been serving as the Secretary General of the Busan Independent Film Association since 2019. Previously, she was an editorial board member of the Busan Independent Film Review, IndieCritique (2019-2022) and Critic b (formerly Visual Culture, issued by Busan Film Critics Association, 2019-2022). From 2017 to 2021, she contributed to the Review Section of the Busan Cinema Center.

JEON Chanyoung

JEON Chanyoung is a documentary filmmaker. Her feature film, Her 5th Room (2022), won the Grand Prize at the Busan Independent Film Festival and the Special Jury Award at the EBS International Documentary Festival. Her autobiographical short film, The House in a House in a House (2017), was officially invited to the DMZ International Documentary Film Festival and the Seoul International Women’s Film Festival.
