“Sound Image” brings together seven films that demonstrate in different ways the relationship between the two “columns” running down the filmstrip: the pictures and the soundtrack. These films create harmonies and tensions between our ears and our eyes, raising our awareness about the physical medium of film, and about our perception, our brain. The films also demonstrate different techniques of filmmaking and experimentation. All will be shown on 16mm film.
