"Rendez-vous with AFiS", our ongoing partnership with the Busan Asian Film School, introduces short films made as part of their filmmaking careers in their own countries by the Fellows chosen by the school for its 2025 residency program. This year’s program features five short films, some of which span more niche genres with fantasy, LGBTQI+, and children’s films. Thematically, they dive into generational trauma, the difficulty in communicating empathically and the necessity to let go of the past.
