Curtain Call

The Man Who Could Not Remain Silent

Croatia, France, Bulgaria, Slovenia│2024│Fiction│14'│DCP│Color│Korean Premiere

Framed by the tragic massacres of 1990s Bosnia, this narrative short film captures a powerful moment of resistance born out of violence. With a tightly constructed narrative, the director invites contemporary audiences in 2025 to reflect on the complex interplay between past and present. At its core, the film is a haunting exploration of human weakness and cowardice — and the fragile yet resilient conscience that strives to overcome them. Winner of the Best Short Film Award at the g2024 Cannes Film Festival.
