Raised by a father who had long been more devoted to judo than to his family, the son has now become a father himself — and ultimately follows in his father's footsteps as a judo practitioner. Today, the son works as a judo teacher, while the father, now retired, lives alone and takes care of the temple. This film observes the lives of father and son, and seeks to express the words they couldn't say — through a judo match.
