Yonggon gives up on the civil service exam and returns to his hometown, whether voluntarily or not. Byeongdon and Yonggon. A father who is displeased with his idle son, and a son who can’t nor doesn’t want to understand his father are living together. Their cohabitation, like a creaky gate, is no different even when the whole family gathers on Chuseok. While preparing for the ancestral rites, the conflict between Yonggon and Byeongdon eventually bursts. Yonggon runs away from home and encounters his deceased grandfather.
