Kijeong is a devoted father, supporting his wife and daughter, who live abroad. He drifts through a monotonous routine, shuttling between work and his desolate apartment. Sleepless nights have become the norm due to late-night noise, which he suspects comes from the child running around upstairs. His complaints to the neighbor are met with repeated denials. He sees this crisis as a chance to pursue his long-cherished dream of living in the countryside. But on the very day reality reminds him it’s not the right time, he encounters the one he believes is responsible for the noise and takes revenge.
