The Colombian region of Chocó is an isolated area between sea and forest where religious missions, military operations, tourist projects and trafficking of all kinds intersect and coexist simultaneously, unaware of each other. With no judgment and free of narration, Tropic Pocket steals images that witness and justify these actions, stripping them of their argumentative weight. The viewer will decide, amongst these layers of reality and mystification, which are the most deceitful. (Pip Chodorov)
