Kidong, who has a physical disability, accompanies his mother Ehwa, a shaman, as she prepares to perform a shin-naerim ritual for Jiwon, with a TV crew documenting the process.

Ehwa embodies both spiritual power and maternal instinct, caught between guiding Jiwon, a young woman destined to become her spiritual successor, and her son, now past the typical marrying age. The film explores themes of desire, jealousy, and disability, with the divine presence shifting uneasily between them until it collides with Kidong’s suppressed sexual urges.
