Report the Present condition of Busan International Short Film Festival

33rd Busan International Short Film Festival International Competition entries closed.

A total of 4,180 films entered from 109 countries.

France, Korea, Spain, Germany take a large part of our submission as the year before.

But the number of submission countries(including Asia) declined slightly year on year.

On the other hand, submission of Austria which was a guest country of BISFF 2016

have multiplied four times, submission of Iran have doubled compared to last year.

Especially, we give an eye to new countries which have no history of entry.

Like Aruba, Kurdistan, Mali, Martinique, Tonga, Trinidad&tobago, Uganda. etc.

We really appreciate all of directors who submitted their films at our festival.

The announcement of International Competition Section will be notified February 25th

(Thu) 2016 on our website (www.bisff.org).
