After being unemployed for a long time, Raphael is forced to take a job as a night-time security guard – an occupation vastly different from his former technical career. To make matters more difficult, he also recently moved back in with his bedridden mother, cared for by the courageous nurse Vera. Together with Vera and his beloved dog Rio, Raphael slowly starts to manage his new life situation. 

A stop motion animated skeleton, once a formidable villain of the silver screen and now a struggling actor, takes drastic measures when he learns the film for which he was created is being remade without him. 

Cold times, people are looking for a place to sleep. A car rambles through the night, to bring out of the dark what could get lost in there.
